Las Vegas Masters is an adult swimming program, training primarily at the Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada! We are an impressive group including past collegiate stars, Olympic swimmers, Olympic Trials competitors, FINA Masters world record holders, USMS record holders, long-time swimmers, and late bloomers in our sport. We are moms and dads, young and old, singles, and couples. We are very hard working at practice and very high scoring at swim meets. We are fortunate to be coached by the amazing Victor Hecker. Come swim with Las Vegas Masters if you want to get faster! Come party with us if you want to have fun!
Las Vegas Masters Swimming is a club for adults in the Southern Pacific Masters Local Masters Swimming Committee (SPMS LMSC) of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). We compete at our two local LVM-hosted swim meets in January and June every year. We compete at USMS Spring National Championships and at USMS Summer National Championships. We send swimmers to represent Team USA every two years at the FINA Masters World Championships. We are well-represented at many of the Regional SPMS championships, especially our favorite, the SPMS Short Course Meters Championship occurring every December.
Las Vegas Masters is proud to train at Clark County Nevada's Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility Summerlin and Henderson

Pre-register and then join us on Nov 23 at 11:30am at UNLV Buchanan Natatorium at 850 E. Harmon Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
LVM members, friends, new swimmers, old swimmers, fitness swimmers, and speedy swimmers are all invited to swim the USMS Fall Fitness Challenge with us - The Turkey Mile! Even folks who are not yet members of USMS are allowed to register and participate.
How to swim The Turkey Mile?
- Fitness swimmers may like to swim it straight as a first attempt at going 1650 yards non-stop.
- Beginners may like to wear fins or paddles for a 1650 yard swim.
- Competitive swimmers may want to go fast or descend on an interval, such as 11 x 150 on 2:15 descending.
- Other ideas include an "All-Equipment-Swim" in which you wear every training tool and toy you can put on for a 1650 (photos required).
Your USMS Fall Fitness registration gets you registered for The Turkey Mile in Las Vegas and also gets you a USMS Fall Fitness Challenge swim cap in the mail. If you receive the special cap in the mail before Nov 23rd, please wear it at The Turkey Mile!
